this Spotlight Hour, it’s hard not to lean toward radio—at least this version of it. Because this didn’t feel like something built by an algorithm. It felt like someone cared about what came next.

Host Ella eases things in with those short opening soundscapes—nothing flashy, just enough to shift your mood and get you listening a little closer. And that’s kind of the point. You’re not just hitting play and walking away. You’re here now.

Adrian Rieder is where things really start to click. “Be Kind (feat. Esther Denis)” comes in soft, almost like it doesn’t want to interrupt your thoughts—but give it a minute, and it pulls you right in. There’s something genuine about it, something that doesn’t try too hard. Then “Gin Tonic (feat. Derek Sherinian)” slides in right after, smoother and more confident, like the same artist just changed the lighting in the room. That contrast? You don’t really get that on a playlist. Not like this.

Then Andy Case takes things somewhere heavier. “Dark Place” lives up to its name—it’s not trying to be easy or catchy. But instead of skipping, you stay with it. And when “Bag of Bones” follows, it feels like you’ve earned that next step. There’s a rawness there that makes you curious, like… where did these songs come from? Who is this when no one’s watching?

Johnny Reed keeps that honesty going. “Opened Up” feels exactly like that moment when you say more than you meant to—and don’t take it back. Then “See What Tomorrow Brings” feels like the morning after, when things are quieter but not necessarily clearer. It’s real in a way that sticks with you longer than expected.

And then things loosen up.

Rafael Montecruz and Abraham Armell bring in “Shadow” and “We’d Be,” and suddenly everything feels a bit bigger, more cinematic. You can almost picture these songs playing over scenes in your own life. That’s the kind of moment where you stop multitasking and just listen.

Right after that, Ms. Black A.K.A. Black The Scientist completely flips the energy. “look@me?!?!?!” is wild in the best way—loud, unpredictable, a little chaotic. And “CHICKEN WING$” somehow matches it. It’s fun, but there’s an edge to it. You get the feeling she’s doing exactly what she wants, no filter. That kind of energy doesn’t always fit neatly into playlists—but here, it lands perfectly.

From there, the hour just keeps moving—never rushing, never dragging. SRJ & Katherine Ellis bring that late-night club vibe with “Been So Lonely (Afterhours Club Remix),” Steven Jones, (SRJ) lifts things up with “You Take Me Higher,” and then Raymnd slows everything down again with “Malibu Sunset” and “It’s All Over Now.” Those two feel like staring out a car window when you’ve got too much on your mind.

Then—out of nowhere—NekUSAken’s “Skull Fractured by Concrete” hits. It’s quick, intense, and gone before you can fully process it. But somehow, it sticks.

Nadia Solaei and Sarah Mohebiany shift things again with “A Better World (feat. Nishana Lynn & Nadiv Gicheru)” and “Live as One.” There’s a sense of connection in those tracks that feels bigger than just music. And then Hip Culture brings it back to something personal with “Korean Girl” and “Invisible,” both layered with identity and emotion in a way that feels effortless.

By the time Solo Noi closes things out with “Who Said That?” and “You Can’t Make the River Go Back,” you’re not really thinking about playlists anymore.

Because here’s the thing—playlists are convenient. They know what you like. They keep you comfortable.

But this? This surprises you. It challenges you a little. It introduces you to artists you didn’t even know you were looking for.

So yeah… maybe radio is coming back.
Not the old version. Something better.

Something that makes you stay until the end—and then wish there was just one more song.

Discover your next favorite artist on <a rotation since last Sunday. Fresh voices, evolving sounds, and tracks that deserve more than a passing listen. Let’s get into it.

Adora Aiza

We open with the emotionally charged sound of Adora Aiza, an artist who leans into vulnerability without losing control of the moment. Her work sits in that space between confession and clarity—soft-spoken but deeply resonant.

From Now Complete to Religion, there’s a sense of searching that runs through her catalog. And the live recordings—“Train the Heart,” “Somebody Let Love,” and “Forgive You”—strip everything back even further, letting the rawness do the talking.

This is music that doesn’t rush to resolve itself.

Claude.Ink

Next, we move into the atmospheric world of Claude.Ink, whose sound feels like memory fogged by late-night reflection. Taken from the album Hermit, tracks like “Angels” and “Blue Lullaby” build slow, immersive emotional spaces rather than traditional song structures.

There’s a quiet restraint here—like the music is intentionally leaving room for thought instead of filling it.

Hand On Heart

The energy shifts with Hand On Heart, a project rooted in melody and emotional immediacy. “Space” and “When You Fall in Love” lean into that cinematic pop sensibility—expansive, heartfelt, and easy to get lost in.

It’s the kind of sound that feels like it belongs in motion—driving at night, staring out windows, or replaying conversations in your head.

M.A.J.O

Bringing a brighter turn in the hour is Majo, with tracks that balance warmth and momentum. “Still Care” carries a soft emotional core, while “Summer Adventure (Radio Version)” pushes into something more upbeat and open-air.

There’s a simplicity here that works in its favor—clean hooks, clear emotion, and an easy lift in energy.

NekUSAKeN

Then we hit a harder edge with NekUSAKeN and the uncompromising intensity of “Skull Fractured by Concrete.”

This is the kind of track that doesn’t ask for permission. VIP Remix”.

There’s a playful confidence in the delivery—something that sits between club energy and personal expression. That’s exactly what Sunday Night Spotlight is all about. Each week, we carve out space for independent artists who are creating music on their own terms — no filters, no formulas, just real sound and real stories.

This week’s lineup was a perfect example of that spirit in action. A blend of genres, backgrounds, and perspectives came together to create a listening experience that felt both diverse and deeply connected.

We kicked things off with Dimi Rogers, an artist whose journey is as compelling as his music. With “Glorious Day” and “It Will Get Better,” listeners were given a glimpse into a songwriter who has fought to reclaim his voice and continues to move forward with purpose. There’s a sense of resilience in his work — not just in the lyrics, but in the tone, the delivery, and the intention behind every note.

From there, Ana Danch brought a completely different energy into the mix. Her tracks “Summer Ecstasy” and “Champagne” added a vibrant, modern pulse to the hour. Blending pop, house, and electronic elements, Ana’s sound feels polished yet personal — the kind of music that can lift your mood while still showcasing strong artistry and control.

The mood shifted into something more introspective with Saints Gone Wild. Featuring “Black Dress Mess” and “Nothing Left To Do,” this segment leaned into raw, honest storytelling. These are songs that don’t rush to impress — they unfold, they linger, and they invite listeners into deeply personal moments shaped by real-life experience.

Kelly Cecil continued that emotional depth, but with a dynamic range that stood out immediately. With “In This Ocean” and “New World Order Blues 26,” we heard two distinct sides of the same artist — one atmospheric and immersive, the other stripped-down and rooted in acoustic blues. It’s a reminder that versatility, when grounded in authenticity, can be incredibly powerful.

Adding a touch of personality and storytelling tradition, Mitchell Stone brought his signature style to the spotlight with “Don’t Let the Screen Door Hit Ya…” A songwriter with decades of experience, his work carries both humor and heart — the kind of track that feels instantly familiar while still standing on its own.

And of course, no Sunday Spotlight would be complete without a little grit and fun. Eggmen Road delivered exactly that with “Better Than Whiskey,” a track that leans into roots-driven country rock with a playful edge. It’s the kind of song that doesn’t try too hard — it just works.

What ties all of these artists together isn’t genre or style — it’s independence. Each one is creating music on their own terms, telling their own stories, and connecting with listeners in a way that feels genuine.

If you missed any part of the show, or if something caught your ear and you want to dig deeper, you can find more about these artists and many others at indieqradio.com — where independent music lives.

And remember, the spotlight doesn’t turn off when the show ends. The music keeps going, 24/7 — always evolving, always introducing something new.

So wherever you are, however you’re listening — stay tuned.

Because the next great artist? felt it—the kind of listening experience that doesn’t just fill space, but actually pulls you in. Hosted by Ella, the Sunday Artist Spotlight continues to carve out its own lane as a place where independent music isn’t just played… it’s presented with intention.

This week’s spotlight was a reminder of just how wide and alive the indie scene really is.

The night opened with Karen Bella, whose sound sits somewhere between indie folk and soulful pop, but really lives in emotion. Tracks like “San Andreas” and “Needle in the Hay” didn’t rush to grab attention—they unfolded. Warm vocals, layered textures, and a sense of honesty that made you lean in rather than tune out. It was the kind of opening that sets a mood without forcing one.

From there, things shifted into a more classic songwriting space with The Songs of Songwriter Glenn Shayne. His track “Lipstick” carried that timeless, lived-in quality—something rooted in experience rather than trend. There’s a certain confidence in music like that. It doesn’t try to be current; it just is.

Then came Tom Raley, who brought things closer to the ground with “Bottom of the Liquor Bottle” and “When You’re Close to Me.” These weren’t just songs—they felt like moments. One raw and reflective, the other softer and more intimate. Together, they painted a picture of someone willing to be honest about both the heavy and the hopeful parts of life.

Sometimes Julie followed, and this is where the emotional thread of the night really deepened. With “I Dreamed of You” and “Carry Her” from their Transition project, the duo leaned into vulnerability without losing strength. There’s a balance in their sound—part storytelling, part atmosphere—that makes their music linger long after it ends.

And then, just when the night felt fully settled into reflection, Da Grimm One stepped in and shifted the energy. “Loungin (Radio Edit)” brought a smooth, grounded hip-hop vibe that didn’t feel out of place—it felt necessary. Real perspective, steady flow, and a reminder that storytelling comes in many forms.

What stood out most wasn’t just the range of genres—it was how naturally everything fit together.

That’s not easy to do. Moving from indie folk to rock to hip-hop in a single segment can feel disjointed in the wrong hands. But here, it felt like a journey. Each artist added a different layer, a different tone, a different piece of the overall experience.

And that’s really what the Sunday Artist Spotlight is becoming—a listening experience, not just a segment.

Ella’s approach plays a big role in that. The structure is simple: introduce the artists, let the music breathe, and trust the audience to feel it. No over-talking, no over-explaining. Just enough guidance to set the stage, and then the spotlight does what it’s meant to do.

Of course, it doesn’t end there.

These artists don’t just disappear after Sunday night—they move into the Indie Q Radio Daily Mix, where their music continues to spin throughout the week. And for those who want more, the 8 PM Spotlight Hour dives deeper into who these artists are and what drives their sound.

It’s a full-circle approach—discovery first, connection second.

In a world where algorithms often decide what we hear next, there’s something refreshing about a space that feels curated by people who actually care about the music.

That’s what Indie Q Radio is building.

And Sunday nights? They’re starting to feel like the heartbeat of it all.

Discover your next favorite artist on Indie Q Radio deserves. I’m your host, and tonight we’re opening our Artist Spotlight Series with a haunting and reflective piece from the project Claude.ink.

The track is called “Our Lady Sanctuary.” It’s a dark, hymn-like alternative piece that plays out almost like a prayer — not a prayer asking someone to fix everything, but simply asking someone to stay.

Because sometimes the most powerful form of support isn’t advice or solutions… it’s presence.

In the song, “The Lady” becomes a symbol for life itself — something that can wound you, comfort you, and sometimes leave you feeling like you’ve been left behind. But even in those moments of tension, the song reminds us that life can still hold meaning, and that every path is uniquely our own.

Let’s begin tonight’s spotlight with Claude.ink and the track “Our Lady Sanctuary.”

TRACK 1
Claude.ink — “Our Lady Sanctuary”
from Hermit (2026)
[4:00]

HOST:
That was Claude.ink with “Our Lady Sanctuary,” from the 2026 release Hermit.

There’s something almost meditative about that track — the way it sits between melancholy and acceptance, like a quiet conversation with life itself. moving effortlessly between intimacy, celebration, resistance, and renewal.

Hosted by Ella, the show unfolded like a carefully curated mixtape, highlighting independent artists whose voices deserve to be heard, felt, and remembered.

The evening opened with The Thursday Night Spotlight Hour Intro, setting the tone for an hour built on discovery and connection. Listeners were soon welcomed Under the Heavenly Skies with Vinnie Maesto, whose music gently anchored the first act of the show.

His track “Love of My Life” radiated warmth and sincerity — a love song that feels lived-in, not idealized. It’s the kind of song that doesn’t shout; it confides. Paired with Ella’s thoughtful interludes, Vinnie’s music felt like a quiet conversation in the still of the night.

Momentum carried on with “Here’s to Us,” another standout from Maesto’s Under the Heavenly Skies. The song offered reflective optimism, celebrating shared moments without ignoring the effort it takes to keep choosing one another. These opening selections established a theme for the night: love in its many forms — romantic, communal, and self-affirming.

Next, the spotlight shifted to AriSun with “Remind Me” from Elements. The track shimmered with emotional clarity, balancing vulnerability and strength. Memory became an anchor, and AriSun’s sound brought modern polish while keeping the heart front and center — a smooth transition into the show’s more experimental stretch.

That experimentation arrived with nose noise, whose tracks “Partyppl” and “Snack” injected playful chaos and undeniable groove into the hour. Short, punchy, and full of personality, these songs created a release — a moment to let go, laugh, and move. Ella’s breaks added extra space for listeners to breathe before the show took a more serious turn.

That shift came powerfully with G Wizzz’s “STOP KILLING MY PEOPLE STAND UP.” Released in 2020, the track remains painfully relevant, delivering a raw, unfiltered call for justice. Positioned here, it demanded attention — and deserved it — reminding us that Spotlight Hour isn’t just about music that entertains, but music that speaks truth.

After a brief ad break, the second half of the show opened into a beautifully expansive soundscape. “Fata Morgana (Aga Boryn Remix)” by PAAB & Aga Boryn floated in with atmospheric depth, blurring the line between dream and dance floor. Tracks like “I Never Want Our Present to Be Our Past” by Eggmen Road and “New Meaning” by Du-Du-Sam leaned into reflection and growth, each exploring second chances and emotional evolution.

The closing stretch — featuring Kingstaf, Pamela Ratajczyk, Mrs. Kate Carpenter, Adrienne Park, Chaz Landry, and Lee Wastler — offered a gentle landing. Songs about belief, love, identity, and faith carried listeners home, tying together the many emotional threads woven through the night.

As Ella signed off, the message was clear: Thursday Night Spotlight Hour isn’t just a playlist — it’s a space. A space for emerging artists, honest stories, and music that meets you where you are. If you missed it live, this is one hour worth revisiting.

Discover your next favorite artist on Indie Q Radio — the home for truly independent music from around the world.

Spotlight Show: Thu–Sat, 8–9 PM

Replays: Next day at 10 AM & 2 PM

Daily Mix: A fresh rotation of indie tracks from 4–9 PM

Whether you’re a listener looking for something real or an artist ready to be heard, Indie Q Radio is where new music gets its moment.

Listeners: Tune in anytime and explore a world of authentic indie talent.

Artists: Submit your music and join a platform that respects your craft, promotes your work, and celebrates your sound.

Visit IndieQRadio.com — independent music lives here.

New Music Spotlight: G Wizzz

“Vio” & “Stop Killing My People (Stand Up)”

mysoundMusic

Philadelphia-based artist G Wizzz is back with his latest instrumental and socially conscious releases, continuing to define his space in modern trap and hip-hop.

VIO

Artist: G Wizzz
Genre: Trap / Hip-Hop / Instrumental
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Release Date: November 14, 2025

Overview:
G Wizzz delivers a concise, high-energy instrumental single with “Vio”, a two-minute track packed with aggressive trap elements and polished production.
